Our People

Any business that employs staff would be foolish not to realise that, when properly inducted, trained, motivated and empowered – the right people can be unstoppable.

As part of our commitment to ethical operations we believe in rewarding each colleague for their hard work, commitment and loyalty, which in turn enhances team morale and performance. Our advocacy of the Living Wage Foundation is testament to that.

We have invested in the best people across our business and they are now leading us to new levels of delivery.

Our bespoke Employee App allows us to promote wellbeing schemes to all our employees, offer impartial assistance on a wide range of subjects, provide 24/7 GP access and offer a "beans" based reward programme where staff can save towards particular items from a range of retailers.

All of this is quite simply the right thing to do.

Technology

Most companies in this industry will tell you that they have an off the shelf management information system that can be tailored to customer’s requirements. We don’t take this approach.

As part of our Transformation value we ensure that we continue to be pioneers in the field of technology. Our best in class Velocity system is the creation of our parent company and, as such, its capability and flexibility is without constraint or limitation.

Many new developments have come from our Head Office innovation days where our supply chain, operations and wider teams meet to discuss trends, requirements and ideas.

Excellerate strongly believe that innovation should not just be pigeon holed into just tech products.

We have supported cultural champions and more recently, mental health first aiders, on a number of our contracts and value highly any strategy which promotes social value.
